About the author:
Mike Govek was the
Karate Club president for a number of years and holds a 2nd degree black
belt rank (Nidan). Mike works in Medical Specialties Division,
Building 260. Mike has worked for since 1980. He has been a
member of the Karate Club since 1981 and has held the president office
position from 1982-1996. Mike came to the Club from North Dakota as a
black belt and is a large supporter of the club.
